R F Wood Door

Since 1955, R F Wood Door has been a family-owned and operated business dedicated to providing exceptional garage door solutions in central Connecticut. Founded by Robert Wood after his experience at Stanley Works, we began in a basement and have grown while maintaining our commitment to personalized service. Partnering with Lawrence Woods expanded our capabilities, and we have since returned to our original name, embodying decades of trusted expertise. Our services include sales, installation, and repair of residential garage doors and openers, with a focus on honest, timely solutions. We offer free in-home estimates and stand by our work with a one-year guarantee on all parts and labor. As a licensed and insured contractor, we prioritize customer satisfaction, ensuring every interaction reflects our core values of integrity and reliability.

Our 65+ years in business underscore our deep understanding of garage door systems, allowing us to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently. We emphasize preventive maintenance and safety, educating homeowners on best practices to extend the lifespan of their systems. Our team arrives fully equipped to address problems in a single visit, minimizing inconvenience. Testimonials consistently highlight our prompt, professional service, fair pricing, and quality materials. This legacy of excellence continues today, reinforcing why we remain a trusted name in the community.
