Walz Construction was opened in 1989 by my father, James Walz.
Back then my father and I started by building custom homes & garages.
After 15 years, I relocated and focused my attention and expertise in commercial and industrial overhead garage doors and opened a company by the name of Othello Doors.
In 2004, I relocated to Moses Lake and opened what is now a very successful & rewarding Company by the name of Garage Doors & More.
We specialize in the installation, maintenance and repair of commercial and industrial overhead doors.

The average spring life is 7-9 years, assuming 10,000 cycles at 4 cycles a day.
However, with the garage door being used more often, increasing the daily cycles, springs may last only 4-6 years.
At Garage Doors and More we recommend that you use a HP motor for the average garage door.
The garage door must be well balanced and serviced at least once a year to insure you will get the years you are looking for from your new garage door.
Longevity of your new garage door is based on usage, but at Garage Doors and More we believe the average garage door should last between 15-30 years depending on a number of factors such as, regular maintenance and local climate.
